Mise-en-scene recreation: Learner response
1) Type up your feedback from your teacher in full.
i cant read it im afraid 😰😰😰😰
2) Type up a summary of the feedback you have had from the rest of the class - bullet points is fine.
WWW:
- FACE CARDS!
- it was so fetch
- good acting
- positioning
- good use of multiple shots
- beautiful script
- precise performance
- accurate props
- actors expressions and voices
- mirrors original scene
- add background music
- camera quality (sorry guys its borrowed from school😰)
3) Use all the feedback you've been given to write your own self-assessment of your video using WWW (What Went Well) and EBI (Even Better If...)
WWW: the acting and camera shots were accurate and I think that it worked out very well
EBI: add background music because I didn't notice it in the original video
4) Now reflect on your own work in more detail. How did your planning (script, shot list) help clarify and develop your ideas?
It helped recreate the scenes as it was all planned out already
5) Thinking technically, how could you improve your work for future videos? (E.g. filming, editing, audio levels etc.)
Remove unnecessary background noise and add some music.
6) Finally, what have you learned regarding the importance of mise-en-scene in film and television? Write a paragraph to answer this.
I have learnt that everything has a specific meaning in media for example...
Costume: the style of a characters outfit and fashion sense connotes a lot of meaning the character such as their wealth, social status, personality and what kind of character they are in the the product. So when creating something with actors paying close attention to what is worn is very important and adds a better understanding to the mood scene for the audience.
Setting: it reflects the predictability of the scene and the story line and the characters, the body language of and actor also conveys a lot of meaning, just as the costume, the mood and personality of a character as well as their aggression levels in a action or drama movie.
In conclusion, I have learnt that all aspects of mise-en-scene should be considered because it is a reflection of how people infer thing.
