Media Awards

One of my favourite videos at the media awards included many original concepts and lots of different camera shots and angles to create an impactful video. Some of these shots included: high angle, low angle, close up/medium/long shot. These created a huge difference as they helped narrate the video in a better way. The use of a low angle helped show that the person was powerful and inferior. The use of costume allowed a precise idea of who each character was and what their purpose was. It was easy to tell who was the antagonist and protagonist. They used both natural lighting and indoor lighting which showed off the setting accurately. The use of sound and editing let the video flow smoothly and had a good storyline so that it is enjoyable to watch.

Another one of my favourite videos a the media awards also included many original concepts and lots of different camera shots and angles to create an impactful video. The angles they used were: pan shot, over the shoulder shot, high/low angle, close up. These helped the story line move as each shot depicted the setting or emotion shown in the video. The use of mise-en-scene let the connotations of each scene to become huge and allowed for many ideas to be thought. The lighting was quite dark to foreshadow the crime genre which allowed the audience to be in the perspective of it and feel like they're a part of that scene. The use of sound helped with the flow of the story as it matched what was going on.
